Classes & Curriculum
Our Homeschool Enrichment
Each class is organized by students age. Between each class in the program, students will rotate between each class. Classes will have lunch time inside or outside weather permitting. We will be a blend of Arts.
Art class gives the students an opportunity to experience hands on creating Art, crafts, projects, and more. Our goal is to support parents, giving the student the Arts experience. The program provides step-by step project instructions and a sample of artwork. The students will explore a variety of mediums as they learn art techniques along the way. The projects will be to help develop and refine drawing pen and ink skills techniques also covering pencil portraits, abstract, landscape etc. There are also lessons on art history and art appreciation, to foster imagination and creativity in our classes. The teaching methods are also focused on reinforcing the formal Elements of Art, The Basic Principal of Design, and nurturing a long-lasting passion for art making. We will be using, paint, brushes, canvases, watercolor, watercolor paper, construction paper, markers, water color paint, craft material.
Music theory allows students to learn about reading music, how to create music and learn how music works on a basic level. They can see what sound looks like, learn how melody works, create rhythms, turn drawings into music, and more. This is an added resource rather than a music curriculum.
Drama class helps students understand and develop their love for the performing arts. It helps develop confidence, self-esteem, acting abilities, creative thinking, public speaking skills leadership and teamwork. Drama can help teach social interactions like eye contact, facing speakers, and how to communicate clearly. These types of skills are acted out in drama, but students who need social skills taught explicitly, this can be a low-risk way to learn these skills teaching drama in the classroom is more than just the acting part. There are opportunities in the dramatic arts for other learning, such as vocabulary. Your students might have hidden talents you don’t even know about!
